The CPM Thame 10k road race, set to take place on 29 June 2025, is already nearing capacity, with two-thirds of places now filled. Organisers anticipate reaching the 1,000-entrant limit by early to mid-June, urging those still considering entry to act quickly.
This year’s event promises fierce competition, particularly in the non-running club team category, where the top four finishers per team will count towards the standings. Trophies are up for grabs for the top three teams, drawing interest from a wide range of local organisations and community groups.
Teams already entered with at least four runners include:
Barley Hill School, John Hampden School, CPM, Local Legends, Man and Machine Ltd, Powerhouse, Recovery Runners, Team Tony Pickup, and Tim’s Thames Trotters.
Running clubs are also turning out in strength. Clubs with at least four male runners entered so far include:
Bearbrook, Didcot, Harwell, Headington, Oxford Tri, Thame Runners, Vale of Aylesbury, Witney, and Woodstock.
For the ladies’ teams, strong representation has come from:
Abingdon, Didcot, Kidlington, Oxford, and Witney.
