Tetsworth’s Christmas Gift Fair

Tetsworth Village Hall has run a Christmas Gift Fair for the last 22 year’s & possibly more.

They have a lovely range of stalls from, Christmas decorations, wreaths & flowering Hyacinths, cards, photography, needlecraft’s, woodworking, jewellery, pottery, Children’s clothes, books & toys, candles, vegetables, local wines, ciders, preserves & cheeses, other local businesses, such as the, wildlife trust, donkey sanctuary charity & Tetsworth school.

They provide delicious homemade refreshments, vegetable soup, bacon rolls & sweet Christmas bakes. The icing on the cake is the free of charge Santa’s grotto with a gift for every visitor.

 

Tetsworths Christmas fair has grown in size & popularity & is now very well established.  They advertise with posters, large boards locally, flyers, face book & e-mail & have 300 – 400 people attending.

 

There is approximately 25 stalls to enjoy both inside & outside the hall.  The fair’s criteria for booking a table is, local, quality, craft or produce. If you feel you fit this criteria & might like a table please contact Judy for a chat on 01844 281388 or secretary@tetworthmemorialhall.com

 

The 2019 fair is on Saturday 30th November 10 – 3.30. Large tables are £22 each payable in advance.

Our Monday morning Café provides information, peer support and fun activities which are aimed to help with co-ordination, brain stimulation, and general health and wellbeing, for people suffering with dementia, mental health issues, old age or isolation. All welcome – come along with your carer, we would love to meet you. We met twice monthly 10.30-12.30pm at Chinnor Village Centre. You will be welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuit. We start with fun seated exercises, followed by our visiting expert. At the end of the session, we play parachute games, juggling, throwing balls, flat football, floor netball, finishing the session with a poem, lyrical or a reading.
