Thame Hub recently gave an update from the Aylesbury and District Football League, which included Tetsworth FC.
After a slow start, it looked as though it would be very hard for Tetsworth to win Division Two of the ADL. But this Saturday they did just that, defeating Quainton Reserves 4-1 and in doing so making it ten wins in a row and guaranteeing their position at the top of the table.
Tetsworth finished on 39 points with a record of 12 wins, 3 draws and only one defeat, beating Rivets, Bedgrove and Long Crendon Reserves to the title.
Manager Joe Kitchen said "I am delighted to have won the league, especially for all the players who have consistently performed and been a pleasure managing this season. Already looking forward to next season and adding more to the trophy cabinet"
It's not yet been confirmed if Tetsworth will continue in the ADL next season, with a possible switch to another League being discussed at the club.
