Simon Brown will be hosting the Chef's stage for the fourth year at Thame Food Festival this summer. He runs it with wit, wisdom, hilarity and military precision – and we absolutely love him.And it's really not that easy - but he chats, introduces and keeps the stage running smoothly and with aplomb.
And this year he has more Chefs than ever...
There will be the gorgeous glamourpuss Shelina Permalloo, (Master Chef Champ 2012), Ryan Simpson and Liam Trotter from Orwells in Shiplake, and Andre Garrett from Cliveden House. Hailing from Henley, Thame boy, Shaun Dickens from The Boathouse and the equally glamourous Lucie Greenwood from the amazing Milk Shed in Weston on the Green. (She is also running our pop up restaurant at the festival). Richard Bertinet, baker extraordinaire will be buzzing down from Bath to bake us some bread and Dave Mooney will be zipping down from Cheshire to show us some food booty! Closer to home the boys from just down the road at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'saisons will be competing in the Aylesbury College V Le Manoir Cook Off. Adam Johnson and Mark Peregrine will be fighting it out with Richie Carter! Benoit Blin who you might have recently seen on BB2's Creme de la Creme will be showing you just why he is a top Pastry Chef. Last but absolutely not least our Festival Ambassador the truly brilliant Raymond Blanc OBE will be on the stage, once again cooking up some magnificent and delicious dishes for you all to see.
Everyone single chef demonstrates for free - an absolute treat for all our visitors.
