After seeking advice from police and producing new risk assessments and signage, the Town Council have now removed the barriers and reopened the skate park.
Please note that all other play areas remain closed in accordance with government guidelines but have this week been given the green light to reopen from 4 July. The Town Council has received several reports of people accessing these areas despite clear signage advising that they are closed and as a consequence the police are increasing their patrols of these areas.
