Senior citizens' Christmas tea party

The annual party was held last week at the Meadow View Football Club. The event was jointly organised by Thame Town Council, Thame & District Rotary Club and Thame Inner Wheel.

They would like to thank the sponsors that made this event possible; South Oxfordshire District Council was the main sponsor, St Mary’s Masonic Lodge gave very generously again this year and Thame Inner Wheel and Churchill Retirement Living gave their time and support.

Around 80 guests attended the event and were entertained by Ian English and his Pop Choir. They also took part in a Christmas themed quiz and enjoyed delicious food prepared by Jude Brown.

A very special thank you also goes out to all the wonderful volunteers who gave up their time so generously to help with transporting guests, setting up the venue and serving food and drinks.
