A local school has announced it will close to students on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June after a Met Office Red Warning for extreme heat prompted a review of its safety measures.

We look forward to welcoming our Year 11 students to the Sixth Form Conference tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd June 2026). School will also be OPEN as normal for all other students.
Due to the Met Office Red Warning for extreme heat and following a review of our risk assessment, the school will be CLOSED to all students on:
Wednesday 24th June 2026
Thursday 25th June 2026
The safety and well-being of our students and staff must remain our priority. Remote learning will be provided via satchel:one.
A reminder that students attending school tomorrow do not need to wear blazers or ties. Please ensure they bring a water bottle and apply/bring suitable sun cream.
