Local favourite Rumsey’s Chocolaterie is marking a double celebration this week: the 18th anniversary of its Thame location and World Chocolate Day.
Eighteen years ago, the independent family-run business opened its second chocolaterie in the heart of this charming market town. To mark the occasion, a team member snapped celebratory photos outside the shop—prompting a few amused reactions from passers-by who questioned whether they were really 18 years old.
“Whilst my personal age may be a few years older, as an independent family business we all couldn’t be prouder to have got to this stage,” they said in a message to customers.
The business expressed heartfelt thanks to the local community and loyal customers for their continued support over the years.
“We definitely couldn’t have done it without you,” they added.
The milestone fittingly coincides with World Chocolate Day, giving the celebration an extra layer of sweetness.
