The River Thame needs you

The River Thame Conservation Trust is desperately seeking volunteers who would like to collect information about our local river; this can range from taking a quick water sample once a month to surveying for birds, insects, mammals or even recording the habitat.

The River Thame Conservation Trust was established in 2012 to preserve and enhance the terrestrial and aquatic life of the River Thame and its environs.

The River Thame runs for about forty miles through the Southern English Counties of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The Trust is ultimately concerned with the whole catchment area but is beginning work with conservation projects in the lower reaches.
