More than 150 children in Chinnor enjoyed their school Christmas Fayre, which included singing, dancing and a visit from Father Christmas – thanks to a housebuilder donation.
Bovis Homes donated £250 to St Andrew’s C of E Primary School for the special festive event, which included winter games, crafts, a tombola and a children’s raffle.
The 350-pupil school is close to Bovis Homes’ Chiltern View location, off Lower Icknield Way, where the housebuilder’s new housing range is proving popular.
Caroline Crosby, co-chair of the school's Parent, Teachers and Friends Association, said: "Bovis Homes’ generous donation is greatly appreciated by our school. All money raised goes directly back into the school, to pay for a school trip for each child, music lessons for Year 3, sports equipment and more!
"The fayre is a fantastic fun day for all the family and the second biggest fundraiser for St Andrew's School Association - the first being our Summer Carnival in July. Everyone enjoyed a huge amount of festive fun!"
Older and former primary school pupils helped out on stalls while the Key Stage One choir – for youngsters aged 5 to 7 – plus 20 youngsters from Janelle's School of Dance, in Chinnor, performed.
