29th October 2026
Princes Risborough Young Farmers Club is inviting local residents to enjoy some festive cheer as its Christmas Charity Road Run returns on Sunday 20th December 2026, raising money for two important local charities.
The festive road run will set off from Thame Showground at 11am, travelling through Thame, Towersey, Chinnor, Princes Risborough, Longwick and Haddenham.
The event will raise funds for Thames Valley Air Ambulance and The Princes Centre, a day care centre based in Princes Risborough that supports younger adults with additional needs, as well as older people experiencing loneliness, including those living with dementia.
Residents along the route are encouraged to come out and watch the Christmas road run as it makes its way through the local villages and towns, supporting two worthwhile causes in the process.
The Young Farmers Club will also continue its fundraising efforts into the New Year, with a Christmas tree collection taking place on Saturday 9th January 2027.
Money raised from the Christmas tree collection will go towards supporting The Princes Centre, with further details about the collection expected nearer the time.
The Christmas Charity Road Run takes place on Sunday 20th December, departing Thame Showground at 11am.
