More about the local elections
On 2 May, those who registered to vote will be able to cast their ballot in district council elections to elect councillors who will represent their local area and help make decisions on issues such as recycling collections, planning, housing, parking and leisure.
In some areas, people will also have the opportunity to vote for town or parish councillors.
Those who were due to vote in the Kingston Bapguize ward will not be able to vote on 2 May. This is because the elections due to take place in Kingston Bagpuize, and the parishes in this area, are all uncontested.
