Cricket - Oxfordshire men play Berkshire, at Church Meadow, starting this Sunday 23rd
Following the highly-successful hosting of the “Grey” Ashes last Wednesday 12th (won narrowly by Australia), Thame will see the return of Oxfordshire men’s side this Sunday, as they take on Berkshire in a 3-day, Minor Counties match. To put this competition in context, it represents the third-tier of cricket in England & Wales.
Play will start at 11.00 each day and the bar will be open all day on Sunday, when the biggest crowds are expected (so bring a collapsible chair with you!). All supporters of the 2 sides will be welcome!
If you are interested in getting involved with cricket, in any way or at any level, for men, women, girls & boys, please contact Pete on [email protected] , or visit www.thamecricket.org.uk for more details.
