As you may be aware, from 1st November 2021, Oxfordshire County Council have decided to take back control of parking within the two car parks that Thame Town Council currently manage on their behalf (the Town Hall car park and the Upper High Street car park).
At the same time parking offences that would typically be enforced by the police will also become Oxfordshire County Council’s (OCC) responsibility. This will include some on-street pay-and-display parking, but the two car parks named above will stay free).
Thame Town Council are awaiting further information from OCC with regards to the public consultation. They will also share the details on the dedicated ‘Civil Parking Enforcement’ page on their website, which contains the latest information.
