This weekend visit Open Farm Sunday at Lopemede, an annual event that gives the community a chance to see their farm. Take part in a range of tree tours and nature walks, or watch an Eco-Barn screening followed by Q&A with Paul Behrens Global Professor University of Oxford. There's lots of fun for the kids too, with face painting, sow and grow activities and much more. Why not have a bite to it whilst you're there, with Wagu steaks and burgers available, as well as plenty of coffee and cake.
All proceeds from the event, including parking and tractor rides, support Future Oaks: a community interest company rooted at Lopemede Farm, offering hands-on learning in food, farming and nature for schools, communities and organisations across the River Thame area and beyond.
