There could be thousands of new homes built just off the M40 near Thame. The site extends across two parcels of land either side of the M40, east of Junction 7 and the settlements of Milton Common and Great Haseley. The site would also be adjacent to the A40 and A329.
The plan submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council includes plans for:
- 6,500 homes
- up to six primary schools
- a secondary school
- a town centre and local centres
- 28ha of employment land
The developers say that this is just an idea at the moment, and would of course have to be signed off by the Council and agreed with by people living nearby.
