Thame Town Council have been working with Thames Valley Police to put Community Speed Watch signs across key locations going into the town last week. These signs are part of a broader initiative to raise driver awareness in and around Thame.
The Community Speed Watch programme empowers residents to take an active role in monitoring vehicle speeds and encouraging responsible driving and will serve as a visible reminder to motorists that speed checks are in operation and that the community is committed to protecting pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.
