A MILITARY Mobile Testing Unit (MTU) will be deployed in the Chinnor Rugby Club car park this week.
Following approval from the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC), the MTU is expected to begin operation at the Kingsey Road ground on Wednesday, August 19 for up to two days.
MTUs travel around the UK to increase access to coronavirus testing. They respond to need, travelling to test essential workers at sites including care homes, police stations and prisons.
Chinnor RFC Thame declared an interest in making their car park available and, following approval from the DHSC, they are now pleased to be able to support the local community through access to the continued expansion of the coronavirus testing programme.
Please be aware that bookings for the testing site at the Club will be managed in line with current DHSC guidance. Please click HERE for further information.
