What a fabulous day!
The sun shone, the town filled with foodies - over 25,000 of them - and everyone left with full tummies, over flowing shopping bags and big smiles.
It was a day to remember - in it’s ninth year, Thame Food Festival was bigger and better than ever - it had street food, celebrity chefs and bakers, 2 big stages, over 200 artisan food stalls, wine tastings, pop up pub, The Big Thame Bake, the Barr Kitchen’s tearoom, music and laughter - lots of laughter!
As you can see from the previously posted photos - they came, they ate, they shopped and they drank… and they didn’t want to leave!
It cost £80,000, one year to organise by Alison Isherwood and Lotte Duncan the event co-ordinators. It was supported by the festival directors and on the day, manned by some amazing volunteers.
It was a corker of a festival and Thame had a ball!
