Due to a massive increase in walkers, joggers and cyclists in and around Thame, this has sadly meant that there has been an increase in litter.
To actively help with the clearing up of litter, the Thame Wombles have been set up.
Due to current restrictions, group events can not be organised but the group are encouraging people to get out there and pick up as much litter as they can.
The hope is that litter picking will occur on a daily basis and people will record their activities in the Facebook group. Eventually there will hopefully be a committee where equipment can be loaned out to eager "Wombles".
