Tetsworth Primary School won the Thame School’s Mixed Year 3/4 Hockey Tournament this afternoon, narrowly defeating Aston Rowant Primary School in a close final.
The tournament was held at Barley Hill School and was a chance for local youngsters to showcase their hockey skills.
Five schools were competing at the tournament, Aston Rowant, Barley Hill (Two teams), John Hampden (Two teams), St. Joseph's and Tetsworth.
Tetsworth and Aston Rowant both topped their groups but it was Tetsworth who reigned supreme in the final, winning 2-0 with goals from captain Simon Cheeseman and Charlie Mossop.
Thank you to Miss Walker of Barley Hill for organising the tournament.
The next event is the Year 5/6 Thame School’s Tag Rugby Tournament at Chinnor R.F.C on Wednesday 21st March 2018.
