Local software specialist, Adactus, shortlisted for Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Employer of the Year award   

Thame based, specialist in customer experience technology, Adactus, has been shortlisted for the national Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Employer of the Year award, which received a record number of entries this year. Winners will be announced on Thursday 23rd June 2022 at the Hilton Hotel, Reading. 

The award judges recognised that as a people-first business, Adactus in Thame, had created a truly great place to work and that its investment in its people was core to its success.   

Now with over 30 staff, Adactus boasts a 96% staff retention rate with a five year average length of service. Some employees have been with the company for over 15 years.

Adactus, who is a Microsoft partner and whose customers include Pizza Hut, Café Rouge and Bella Italia, develops three ranges of customer experience solutions for any size business in any sector including hospitality, leisure, beauty and ticketing events. Adactus Ordering for online ordering, Adactus Reservations to help any business from vets to dentists to hairdressers, take bookings or appointments, and Adactus Intelligence to give users a single view of their customer and make sense of sales data.   Scott continued: “Our mission has always been to provide the right people, right technology, right solutions to transform our clients' business. That’s why we’re continuing to build an amazing team, including making seven new hires since December last year, and invest in their continuous learning and development. Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
