Lighthouse is back in 2019

LIGHTHOUSE IS BACK IN 2019!

Monday 29th July - Friday 2nd August

Thame Showground, Kingsey Road

Lighthouse Thame is a holiday week for children and young people in Thame and the surrounding area that takes place in the summer holidays at Thame Showground.

It is run through a partnership of local churches and supported by hundreds of volunteers. Lighthouse provides an opportunity for children and young people to learn more about God’s amazing love for us all and understand what a difference Jesus makes to our lives. This is provided in a safe, fun and enjoyable environment for everyone.

The Lighthouse format is simple. At the start and finish of each day we gather everyone together in the main marquee for fun activities, competitions, games and songs. The daily gunging of a leader is always great fun and each day the activities close with some great songs involving plenty of actions.

For the rest of the day children have a programme of games, craft and creative times plus a year-group discovery session involving a drama and a short talk from the Bible that explores the day's theme.

New for this year: Any Young people that are in year 7 at school attending TZone, will sign up as a Helper. It is best for parents to do that, as they will have to give their consent.
