In the Oxfordshire County Council elections held on Thursday, 1 May 2025, the Liberal Democrats achieved a significant victory in the Thame division. Candidate Kate Gregory won the seat with 1,678 votes, accounting for 53.1% of the total votes cast. This result marks a substantial lead over her closest competitor, William Henry George Wilde of the Local Conservatives, who garnered 632 votes (20.0%). Adrian Giles Reynolds of Reform UK followed with 552 votes (17.5%), while the Green Party’s Sue Martin-Downhill and Labour’s Klaudia Julia Zaporowska received 207 (6.6%) and 89 (2.8%) votes, respectively.
The election saw a turnout of 34.0%, with 3,158 valid votes counted from an electorate of 9,295. Five ballots were rejected: one due to voting for more candidates than allowed and four for being unmarked or void for uncertainty
