Did you know that Thame once had its very own railway station? It was on a branch line that ran from Princes Risborough to Oxford, calling on a number of villages on the way. All that remains of it now is the Phoenix Trail from Thame to Princes Risborough. Discover this fascinating part of Thame’s social history.
This brand new free exhibition, Last Stop Thame, runs from 1 July - 30 September and looks back at the days when the railway and the station played an essential part in the life and development of the town over a period of 100 years. The museum is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00am - 4.00pm and on Sundays from 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
