Just a few hours left to cast your votes...

Polling stations will be open until 10.00pm tonight, so there's still plenty of time for you to cast your votes in the 2023 local elections. If you are not able to make it to a polling station on election day (Thursday 4 May) because of an emergency, medical issue or unexpected work commitments, you have until 5.00pm today to apply for an emergency proxy vote – please call 01235 422528.
Don't forget you will be required to show photo ID. A range of photo ID will be accepted, including passports, driving licences, disabled parking blue badges and cards with a PASS Mark. Expired ID is acceptable, as long as the photograph is still a true likeness of you.

If you are unsure of which polling station you should attend, you can enter your postcode here to find out where you should go to vote, or call the Information Centre on 01844 212833 up until 5.00pm today and they will be able to advise you.
