James Haskell to Headline Chinnor RFC’s 2026 Sporting Evening Fundraiser

25th November 2025

Chinnor RFC has announced that former England international James Haskell will be the star guest at the club’s Sporting Evening Fundraiser on Friday 13th March 2026.

Haskell, whose rugby journey began at Maidenhead before rising to international prominence, enjoyed a standout professional career that included spells with Wasps, Stade Français, the Highlanders, Northampton Saints, and ultimately the British & Irish Lions. Known for his powerful playing style and larger-than-life personality, he earned widespread respect on and off the pitch.

Since retiring from rugby, Haskell has carved out a diverse career, becoming a globally in-demand DJ, an MMA trainee, and a bestselling author. His outspoken humour and candid storytelling have turned him into a sought-after speaker, with audiences often treated to honest, hilarious and sometimes outrageous insights from his life in sport and beyond.

The 2026 Sporting Evening promises not only Haskell’s trademark entertainment but also vital fundraising for Chinnor RFC. The event will feature the club’s usual mix of hospitality, socialising and surprises, along with a lively auction hosted by Rob Fenwick, whose high-energy style has become a favourite at Chinnor events.

Supporters are encouraged to attend with friends, colleagues, or organise a table of ten for what the club describes as an evening “for everyone”.
