The best way to get a feel for what the Town Council does, is to come along and listen to one of our council meetings. We have a council meeting on Tuesday 28 February, where Councillors will be discussing a range of topics including Coronation events in Thame, Public Art, Thame Neighbourhood Plan, new allotments and more.
There is also a meeting on Tuesday 14 March, which is a meeting for the residents of Thame. There’ll be a short presentation on the exciting upcoming work on a ‘Strategy for Thame’ plus an open forum where you can ask any question about Thame.
Agendas for our meetings can be viewed at: https://www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/thame-town-council/about-the-town-council/council-meetings/agendas-minutes/. You do not need to register to observe our meetings.
If you would like to join Thame Town Council as a Town Councillor, you need to submit your nomination papers between 20 March and 4 April. More information can be found on our website: https://www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/thame-town-council/elections/become-a-town-councillor/.
