Here are the Lighthouse dates in advance.

Lighthouse Thame & Villages 2019

29 July – 2 August 2019 at Thame Showground

  • Lighthouse Launch (for everyone involved in LH to come together to pray ahead of the summer) Wednesday 22 May at St Mary’s Church, Thame, 7.45pm
  • Lighthouse Briefing (compulsory for all helpers) Wednesday 17 July at St Mary‘s Church, Haddenham, 7.30pm
  • Prayer Walk on Lighthouse site Thursday 25 July at Thame Showground, 5.30pm
  • Alternative Briefing (for helpers that were unable to come on the 17 July) Sunday 28 July at Thame Showground, 4.30pm
  • Commissioning Service (celebration for all helpers, families and churches) Sunday 28 July at Thame Showground, 6pm
  • Lighthouse Celebration (for all helpers & parents) Friday 2 August at Thame Showground, 3pm

Zoom Events' street market is returning to Thame High Street from Thursday, October 22nd to Sunday, October 25th, 2026. This event marks the second of two visits by Zoom Events to Thame in 2026. Described as a unique street market with a festival feel, the event will bring an eclectic mix of offerings to the centre of town, including street food, artisan groceries, arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery, and accessories. Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.
