Goal - Gibson 78
A cold Tuesday evening saw the Red Kites travel to title contenders Halesowen Town. The home side had not lost a football match since October 2019.
What a performance it proved to be.
Thame fell just short of upsetting the odds.
No centre backs in the side with Lynn and West putting in a superman shift! Thame created many chances throughout the match and Goss rattled the bar from 20 yards in the first half.
Thame made this match difficult throughout the ninety minutes and put their bodies on the line.
Halesowen only took the lead with a rare mistake between the posts on 78 minutes which was poached by the lethal Gibson.
Thame pushed for a late goal but the defence held firm to hold out for three points.
