On Sunday 8 March, the Town Hall hosted its first community lunch ('Munch') in partnership with the Town Council and urHome Church, who said:
"We had a great start to Munch on Sunday. There were 26 of us including the incredibly hard-working volunteer team, who had never met before the day. We overcame the inevitable teething problems to cook up chicken and vegetable stew with new potatoes, with an allergen-free version and lentil stew vegetarian alternative to boot. Muffins and coffee completed the menu. The food was well-received and everyone had a very convivial afternoon chatting, with many saying they’ll be back next month.
We still have room for more volunteers, who only have to serve once per quarter, although many want to do more."
