26th February 2026
A project implemented by SGN (Scotia Gas Networks) the gas network in Thame, to replace the metal gas pipes in and around Thame started on 16 February on Parliament Road. This is necessary to replace the old metal pipes with new Polyethylene pipe to continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply.
The gas pipe network is commonly situated under the carriageway. To access the pipes safely they need to work within regulated health and safety requirements which may require them to use traffic management.
