Young people in Thame who need a little extra help with maths can now access free support through a new Monday Maths Club run by Thame Youth Projects.
The weekly sessions are designed for students aged 11–15 (Years 7–11) and offer a relaxed, supportive environment where young people can build confidence and improve their maths skills.
The club can help with a range of topics, including fractions, percentages, angles, counting and estimating, budgeting and money skills, as well as general homework support. Volunteers running the sessions are DBS checked and on hand to explain concepts and help students work through problems they may be struggling with.
Sessions take place every Monday during term time from 5:15pm to 6:30pm at Thame Town Hall (first floor).
The club is completely free to attend, making it an accessible option for local students who want extra help outside the classroom.
Places can be booked by emailing [email protected] or calling 07442 256926.
