Find a Warm Space in Thame

For those of you who are struggling to stay warm at home this winter, there are a number of ‘Warm Spaces’ in Thame where everyone is welcome:

  • Masonic Hall – Tuesday and Thursday mornings - 9am-noon. Enjoy a chat over tea and biscuits.
  • Library – open to all during opening hours (Mon, Tues, Fri 9.30am–5.30pm, Thurs 9.00am-7.00pm, Sat 9.30am-4.30pm, closed Weds and Sun)
  • Thame Leisure Centre - charge a phone, use the Wi-Fi, and enjoy a friendly chat over a cuppa at the centre - weekdays 9am-2pm.
  • Christchurch - enjoy a free hot drink and a chat, Wednesdays 11am-2pm (from Friday 12 Feb until at least 27 March 2025)
  • St Joseph’s Catholic Church – the church is open most days
  • St Mary’s Church – the church is open most days

We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality.
