Chinnor Rugby Club recently contacted the council regarding an idea they have to provide hot meals to the elderly and vulnerable of Thame and Chinnor. This new venture would be based at the catering facility already on site and would be funded by the club's sponsors and delivered by volunteers possibly twice a week. So if you, or anyone you know would benefit from a free homemade meal delivered to your door, please in the first instance call the Information Centre on 01844 212833 or email [email protected] to leave your name and contact details. Once the organisers have an idea of numbers they will be able to look at the viability of the scheme and hopefully progress this amazing community project.
