Local supporters, Anne & John Curtis, are holding a Fundraising Event in aid of The Eve Appeal, the only UK national gynaecological cancer research charity, currently funding ground-breaking research to save women’s lives. The event is being held on Tuesday 15 May at Thame Market between 8.30am–2.30pm, to help raise funds for and awareness of gynaecological cancers, following the death of Anne's sister to the illness.
On sale will be designer clothes, hats, shoes, handbags, cosmetics, general items and interesting articles which belonged to Anne's sister. There will also be a raffle and red heart brooches on sale, to tie in with the Love Your Local Market theme throughout the month of May and - in particular - the Royal Wedding event at Thame Market on Tuesday 15 May.
