Do you enjoy painting to give surfaces a makeover?
Are you artistic?
Would you like to help Thame Players create special effects on stage? Do you have time during the day?
Why not come along to our specialist paint finishes workshop, run by experienced set designer Doug Taylor, on Wednesday 16th February at 7.45 pm and have a go?
Entry is completely free, all you need to do is turn up!
- You’ll find out how to paint the stage so it looks like a boarded floor, or a marbled courtroom floor, or even a Greek village square
- You’ll be able to see a newly painted wall in a room transformed into a wall that looks weathered by time
- You’ll learn how stencils are used in the theatre to create effects
When you’ve finished painting, come and enjoy a drink in the bar and meet some of our members.
