Long Crendon Baptist Church is once again opening its doors for its beloved “Dads & Tots” sessions – a heartwarming Saturday morning event that brings together fathers and their pre-school children for a fun, relaxed start to the weekend.

Running from 9:00 to 10:15 AM, these monthly meetups offer a welcoming space for dads to spend quality time with their toddlers and babies. With plenty of toys, good company, and the added bonus of bacon butties, it’s the perfect way to kick off a Saturday.

The sessions are completely free, with no need to book – just turn up and enjoy. It’s a fantastic opportunity for dads to build friendships, share parenting stories, and let the kids enjoy some playtime in a safe and friendly environment.

Octocello is back again   Following two sell-out concerts in Thame, the eight-cello local group Octocello is once again bringing the unique rich sound of multiple cellos to a concert onSeptember 20th at 7:30 pm in St. Mary’s Church, Thame. The local group will be playing something for everyone, including arrangements of hits by Henry Mancini, Frank Loesser and S Club 7, together with classical favourites by Berlioz, Gilbert & Sullivan and Mendelssohn.
