Chinnor is gearing up for a festive evening as the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on December 7th, running from 5pm to 8pm at the Chinnor Community Pavilion.
The free community event, organised by the Chinnor Community Pavilion charity (Reg. 1163299), promises an evening filled with holiday cheer. Families can enjoy outdoor stalls, a variety of food vans, and lively children’s entertainment and music throughout the night. One of the main attractions will be Santa’s Grotto, giving younger visitors the chance to meet Father Christmas in person.
The lights will be switched on as the centrepiece of the celebration, bringing the village together to mark the start of the festive season. Organisers describe the event as an opportunity to “bring people together,” reflecting the Pavilion’s ongoing mission within the community.
With colourful decorations, seasonal music, and activities for all ages, residents and visitors alike are invited to join in an evening of festive fun.
