Numerous fire engines, police cars and ambulances are at Thame River. Paramedics and officers have been seen putting on buoyancy aids. Although this appears to be very serious, we of course hope it's not.
UPDATE
According to a Thame citizen a body has been found. We of course hope this is not the case. Please do not go to the scene, let us allow the emergency services to work without distraction.
It was later announced by Thames Valley Police that a 72-year-old lady has been recovered from the river. A very sad announcement and thoughts are with the family at this tragic time.
