Thame Town Council considered the latest planning application for Extra Care housing at The Elms on Tuesdayevening. There was unanimous agreement that the proposals were in conflict with the Thame Neighbourhood Plan in many ways.
Thame Town Council has therefore made a detailed recommendation to South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) that the planning application should be refused. There are however significant wider concerns that SODC, the Planning Authority, may be led into approving the application, for wider planning reasons relating to the District’s current 5 year land supply. Thame Town Council will consider appropriate action if that is the case.
