Friends of Elms Park, The Environment Partnership (TEP) and Thame Town Council's Open Spaces Working Group have been working in partnership to improve and redesign Elms Park, which is off of Park Street in Thame.
A planning application is due to be submitted in the next week so that the improvements can begin (subject to funding). A tree-lined boulevard, informal and formal play areas, ornamental planting and a double games court area are in the new design...How exciting!
There will be opportunity for the public to pass their opinion on the application when it has been submitted. The Town Hall will have an informal display for those interested to take a look at.
