Following the success of the 2025 gala, the Big Diesel Thrash is returning for another exciting three-day event.
The event will take place from Friday 20 March to Sunday 22 March, with an action-packed timetable featuring eight return workings from Chinnor each day, keeping the railway busy throughout the weekend.
Four visiting classic diesel locomotives will be joining the railway’s resident fleet for the event. Alongside these special guests, visitors will also see the home fleet in action, including Class 03 (D2069), Class 47 (47402/D1501 and 47715/D1945), Class 08 (08825/D3993) and Class 37 (37227/D6927).
Together, these locomotives will provide the traction across the weekend, promising a fantastic event for diesel enthusiasts and railway fans alike.
