The CPM Thame 10k is this Sunday - information regarding road closures

A message from the CPM Thame 10k race secretary is below:

This is to remind all residents of Thame and surrounding villages that the CPM Thame 10k takes place this Sunday morning, the 24th June from 09.30. You may have noticed the high vis yellow signs on the by-pass and on Oxford Road, informing everyone about the road closures that will be in place.

These are:- 09.25 -09.45 Oxford Road roundabout to the Rising Sun mini roundabout at Southern Road.

09.30 -10.30  Eastern by-pass form the Chinnor roundabout to the Risborough road roundabout.

These are official closures sanctioned by Oxfordshire County Council.

If you are planning a journey on Sunday morning please be aware of these closures. Our intention is to keep disruption at a minimum and keep the traffic flowing for this relatively short period.

I would be grateful if everyone could share this post far and wide so it's read by as many people as possible, If you're free on Sunday morning, come out and watch as 1000 runners make their way through the town and out to Towersey and back, raising thousands of pounds for local charities. I'm certain it will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Rod Lavers,

Race Secretary, CPM Thame 10k.
