The festive season is officially underway in Thame as preparations begin for the much-loved annual carol service hosted by Thame WI and the Thame Belles WI. The event will take place on Tuesday, 16th December at 7:30pm, welcoming residents of all ages to come together in celebration and song.
Held at St. Mary’s Church, the evening will feature traditional carols, seasonal readings, and a warm community atmosphere. Attendees are invited to stay after the service for coffee and mince pies, continuing a cherished tradition of fellowship and festive cheer.
A retiring collection will be taken in support of The Thame Shed charity, helping to fund projects that benefit the local community.
Organisers encourage everyone to join in: “It’s that time of year again—come and share the joy with us!”
