22nd October 2026
River Thame Conservation Trust are bringing together people from across the area to learn more about the Scotsgrove and its tributaries, share local knowledge and explore opportunities to improve their health.
Their team will share what we know about the ecology, water quality, current condition and challenges facing these watercourses, followed by plenty of time for open discussion. We particularly want to hear what local people have noticed, what has changed, where the challenges and opportunities lie, and what could be done together.
A key aim of the workshop is also to connect people who can help make positive change happen — local residents and volunteers, community groups, farmers and land managers, councillors, local leaders and people with relevant knowledge and expertise. Anyone with an interest in their local watercourses is welcome and can register today, no previous knowledge or experience is needed.
