The week beginning 14 December was a festive foodie week at the Red Kite Family Centre. Over £2000.00 was given through the virtual online shop which was amazing. Donations from Waitrose Community Fund and Thame Welfare Trust brought the total raised to £3400.00! Although there couldn't be a live collection at Waitrose this year, many people still donated items for the Christmas boxes. This enabled 186 boxes of Christmas goodies to be packed up which was about 80 more than last year. They have now all been delivered to the nominated families and individuals in our community. A huge thank you to the Red Kite team, Phoenix Community Club, Sharing Life Trust and Rotary without whose help it wouldn't have been possible.
