Come to a fascinating talk this Saturday about Midsomer Murders and its links with Thame

Tony Long, coordinator of Thame’s Midsomer Guided Walking Tours and the author of the highly successful book, A Midsomer Day Out, will be giving an illustrated talk about Midsomer Murders at Thame Museum at 4 pm on Saturday 27th August. Midsomer Murders has been a major success since its first episode back in 1997, televised worldwide. It’s been seen by an estimated one billion people. Now in its 25th year, Midsomer Murders remains as popular as ever. Tony’s talk takes in the origins of the show and how it has developed over 25 years, peppered with amusing anecdotes about some of the bizarre murders that take place in Midsomer County. He will illustrate the talk with images of some of the many locations where filming has taken place in Thame and local area.

The talk lasts around 45 minutes. Admission is free.
