Christmas continues in Thame...

The 1st Thame Scouts Christmas delivery service for the elderly and less able finishes tomorrow (Friday 9 December), so make sure you pop your cards into the boxes in the Town Hall, Chocolate Box or Library by 3.00pm.

March of the penguins - Thursday 1 December - Thursday 22 December
This year Thame's primary school children have been given printed cards of penguins to decorate, kindly donated by Windles as part of a community art installation in the library, so do call in and take a look!

Post a letter to Santa - Friday 25 November - Sunday 18 December
Santa has set up a special post box in The Book House. Download a letter template from the Red Kite Family Centre website or collect one from the Book House or RKFC and make a suggested donation of £5.00 if you are able to. Post it into Santa's post box and wait for the elves to deliver a letter to you!

Penguin search - Thursday 1 December - Monday 19 December
Hidden in businesses in the town centre are 24 mini penguins and 1 big one! If you find them all then enter the competition to be in with a chance of winning vouchers generously donated by ASM worth £100.00, £75.00, £50.00 or £25.00! Enter online at https://www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/community/christmas/or hand in your answers on a piece of paper including your name and contact details to the Information Centre in the Town Hall.

Shop window display - Thursday 1 December - Monday 19 December
While you're out shopping, take a look at the gorgeous window displays created by lots of our local businesses. Vote for your favourite window display at https://www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/community/christmas/ or pop into the Information Centre with your nomination which will give the team the chance of winning one of two hampers. Huge thanks go to ASM who have generously funded this competition.

Penguin selfie station - from Friday 2 December
Come and take a picture with our penguin, generously sponsored by Thame Cars, who's keeping watch outside the Town Hall. Upload your photo to the Christmas in Thame Facebook page and the winner will be drawn at random from all entries and receive some goodies.

A visit from Santa and his sleigh - Saturday 10 December - Sunday 18 December
Look out for Santa who's coming to Thame, Towersey, Long Crendon and Haddenham, starting on 10 December! You can track his journey at santatracker.pentangle.co.uk

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others.
