Chinnor Falcons v Wimbledon 2nd XV: Match Preview

Chinnor Falcons begin their Zoo League Division two campaign at home against Wimbledon 2nd XV (3pm KO).
Wimbledon, who were promoted last year after winning 20 of their 24 matches, will be looking to bounce back after suffering defeat at the hands of a strong Richmond Saxons side 0 - 66 in the previous weeks league match. It’ll be the first league match for the Falcons who, after a late postponement from London Irish Wild Geese, will take a lot of positives from their 12 – 55 victory in a rearranged Basingstoke friendly.

The team features a great blend of youth and experience with many of last year’s colts representing alongside the familiar faces of the first team set up. The return from injury of Alex Waddingham will help strengthen the back row whilst Frank Jones will pull on the 10 shirt alongside brother Ralph who starts at scrum half.

We wish the boys the very best of luck!
